- Onsite doctor's office with health checks before each ceremony
- Fully stocked medical kit for emergency response
- Located within 20 minutes of the nearest medical clinic
- Established emergency transport protocols
On-Site Safety Measures
- 24/7 facilitator on-call with walkie-talkie communication
- Dedicated security guards on the property
- Well-lit walkways, perimeter fencing, and restricted after-dark access
- Balanced male and female facilitator ratios in every ceremony
Product Standards
- Traditional ayahuasca preparation: vine and chacruna leaf only
- No synthetic admixtures, additives, or non-traditional plants
- Prepared by experienced Shipibo master healers
- Costa Rica Ministry of Health permit for operation
Contraindicated Conditions
The following conditions and medications are contraindicated for participation in ayahuasca ceremonies. Our intake process is designed to identify these factors and ensure the safety of every guest.
- Schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
- Bipolar disorder (Type I)
- Active psychosis or history of psychotic episodes
- Current use of MAOIs, lithium, tramadol, or DXM
- Current use of SSRIs or SNRIs (requires supervised washout period)
- Severe cardiovascular conditions
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
